Professional chauffeur service for Pittsburgh Airport offering punctual pickups, luxury vehicles, and stress-free transfers for business and leisure travelers.
Luxury Chauffeur Service Pittsburgh Airport
The wheels touch down at Pittsburgh International Airport, and the next 20 minutes decide how the rest of your day goes. You can wait in the rideshare line on the ground level, hope the app finds a driver and squeeze your bags into a stranger’s back seat. Or you can walk down to baggage claim, see your name on a sign and let someone else take it from there.
That second option is what we do every day, serving Pittsburgh visitors and locals with private, pre-booked airport rides. Executives flying in for business meetings in the Golden Triangle, families heading home to the North Hills, and guests checking into nearby hotels in the Strip District and Oakland. Every ride is a flat fare quoted before you book, in a clean vehicle, with a chauffeur who has already checked your flight.
This page walks you through how pickups work in PIT’s new terminal, how long the drive takes to popular destinations, what a ride costs, which vehicle fits your luggage, and the questions people ask most. When you’re ready, booking takes less than a minutes.

How Does Your PIT Airport Pickup Work?
PIT opened its new terminal in November 2025, and pickups work differently than they used to. Here’s exactly what happens after you land.
- We watch your flight. Your flight number goes into our tracking system when you book. If you land early or late, your pickup time moves with it; you don’t need to call us.
- You head to baggage claim. The new terminal has three roadway levels: Departures on top, Arrivals in the middle and a Ground Commercial Curbside level at the bottom. Baggage claim is on the Arrivals level, with eight carousels organized by the airline.
- You meet your chauffeur. Depending on the pickup you choose (see below), your chauffeur is waiting inside baggage claim or at the commercial curb one level down.
- You’re on your way. Your experienced chauffeur loads your luggage and heads toward your final destination, usually by I-376 through the Fort Pitt Tunnel for trips into the city.
Meet & Greet or Curbside: Which Pickup Should I Choose?
| Meet & Greet | Curbside Pickup | |
|---|---|---|
| Where you meet | Inside baggage claim, Arrivals level, holding a sign with your name | Ground Commercial Curbside level, at the vehicle |
| Best for | First-time visitors, families with children, guests you’re booking for, international arrivals | Frequent flyers with carry-on bags who want the quickest exit |
| Luggage help | From the carousel to the car | At the car |
| How you’re contacted | Chauffeur’s name and phone number sent before landing | Text with the exact curb location once you have your bags |

Drop-Offs at PIT
Stress free travel starts before you leave home. Flying out is simpler when the only thing you have to do is be ready at the door. We pull up to the Departures level, the top roadway, where check-in and the security checkpoint are.
- When we’ll pick you up: PIT recommends arriving 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights. We work back from that, adding drive time and a traffic buffer. From downtown, that usually means a pickup around 2 hours 45 minutes before a domestic departure.
- Early flights: We run 24 hours a day, so a 4 a.m. pickup for a 6 a.m. flight is routine.
- Curbside check-in: American Airlines (Door 2) and Southwest Airlines (Door 3) offer curbside bag check on the Departures level, so your chauffeur can drop you right beside it.
- Last minute changes: If a meeting runs long or your flight changes, call or text us and we’ll adjust your pickup time.
Travel Times & Sample Fares from PIT
Most of our Pittsburgh car service trips start or end at the airport. Here’s how long the drive takes and what it typically costs. Every quote is a flat fare, so you know the price before you book.
| Destination | Approx. distance | Approx. drive time | Starting fare (sedan to SUV) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Pittsburgh | 20 miles | 25–35 min | $156–$206 |
| Oakland (Pitt, CMU, UPMC) | 23 miles | 35–40 min | $158–$210 |

Fares are examples and can change with vehicle type, time and extra stops.

Airport Transfer Services
Every airport trip is different. A solo business traveler, a family of five with a car seat, a wedding party with 20 guests. These are the rides we handle most at PIT.
Corporate & Executive Transfers
A delayed flight shouldn’t mean a missed pitch. Executives flying in for business meetings and board visits count on our executive airport transfers to get from the gate to the boardroom on time, with a quiet cabin to prepare on the way. For teams, corporate accounts keep every booking and invoice in one place.
Family & Car Seat Transfers
Tired kids, a stroller and four suitcases are a lot for a rideshare. Tell us your children’s ages when you book, and the right car seats will already be installed in a roomy SUV with the luggage capacity for everything you packed, for a comfortable ride home.
Group & Event Transfers
Flying in for a conference, a wedding, special events or corporate events downtown? Group transport in a Sprinter van or mini-coach keeps a large group together, from wedding guests landing on the same afternoon to a sales team heading to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. For the celebration itself, our Pittsburgh limo service has stretch limousines and party buses.
Private Aviation Transfers
Flying private? Your chauffeur meets you at the FBO lounge, or planeside where the FBO allows it. At PIT, the FBO is Atlantic Aviation, and many private jets land at Allegheny County Airport (AGC) in West Mifflin, closer to downtown. We serve both.
Hourly, As-Directed Service
Landing for a day of site visits, corporate meetings or a few hours of sightseeing? Keep the car with you. With hourly chauffeur service, your driver waits at each stop and has you back at PIT in time for your return flight.
Long-Distance Airport Transfers
Not staying in Pittsburgh? A city-to-city car service takes you from PIT straight to Morgantown, State College, Erie, Cleveland or Columbus, with no connecting flight or rental car.

Chauffeur vs Taxi, Rideshare & Shuttle at PIT
Taxis, rideshares and an airport shuttle service will all get you out of PIT. The difference is what happens along the way.
| Chauffeur service | Taxi | Rideshare | Shared ride / shuttle | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | Flat fare, upfront pricing | Metered | Surge pricing at busy times | Low fare, per person |
| Pickup | Meet & greet inside, or curbside | Taxi stand | Rideshare zone, ground level | Scheduled stop |
| Waits for delayed flights | Yes, flight tracked | No | No | Rarely |
| Luggage help | Yes | Sometimes | Rarely | Sometimes |
| Who drives | Professional chauffeurs | Licensed taxi driver | Independent driver | Shuttle driver |
| Stops for other passengers | Never | No | Only on shared rides | Yes |
| Vehicle | Luxury vehicles: sedan, SUV or van | Standard car | Varies | Van or bus |
A shared ride offers affordable prices when all you need is just a ride. When you need a reliable ride that’s there on time, waits when your flight is late and takes you door to door, a chauffeur is the better choice for stress free travel.
